Pokimane left speechless by fart butt toy and taser among birthday gifts from fans

Superstar Twitch streamer Imane ‘Pokimane‘ Anys received some bizarre gifts from fans for her birthday, and she was quite taken aback when opening them on stream.

In celebration of her 23rd birthday, Pokimane held a special stream on May 14, in which she appeared with her cosplay of Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones.

Being the popular content creator that she is, many of her fans sent her gifts for her birthday, some of which she ended up opening on stream for her thousands of viewers to see.

It came a surprise to pretty much no one when a few of the gifts ended up being quite weird, and Poki didn’t really know what to say when she first opened them.

The first really awkward gift was a ‘Fart Filter,’ a personal flatulence plug that essentially mitigates the odor for those who may have difficulty with out of control farting.

The second gift was a stun gun, which may not have been as weird as the first, until Poki ended up listening to her viewers and testing the object.

A click of the button released a large and loud electric shock that was powerful enough to be visible on the device itself, and she ended up shrieking and sitting there stunned for a few seconds, as ironic as that may seem.

Pokimane reaches major milestone on Twitch

While Pokimane likely received dozens of wonderful gifts for her birthday, perhaps the best gift out of all is the fact that she hit a whopping three million followers on Twitch just a few days earlier.

According to TwitchMetrics, Poki is just the 13th streamer to eclipse the three million mark, joining the likes of Ninja, Shroud, Tfue and other huge names in the Twitch community.

“I wanna say one last time, seriously, thank you guys for supporting me in any way,” she said. “I didn’t realize until I got to this point that having the freedom to pursue what I want to pursue and have such a fulfilling job where I feel like I can have a positive influence on everyone’s day, I am so lucky.”

There’s one thing that’s for sure – having over three million followers on Twitch is sure as heck a better birthday present than a Fart Filter and stun gun.

YouTuber Jake Paul and former UFC star Ben Askren are set to take to the boxing ring on April 17, but they’re already in a war of words ahead of the bout.

It’s no Conor McGregor, but Jake Paul is going big for his next boxing bout.

After taking down Nate Robinson with relative ease, the YouTube star turned hopeful boxer will take to the ring against Ben Askren on April 17.

However, in the lead up to the fight, the two have already thrown punches over text.

Ben Askren leaked DMs between the two on February 24, claiming “this next generation has some really bad role models.”

“Hey Jake seriously were you even trying against Ben [Darmstadt]? That was pathetic. Hope you try a little bit harder in our fight,” the former UFC fighter opened with in the exchange.

“Hiya bubba! So good to hear from you! I know Masvidal gave you brain damage so I’m guessing you meant to ask if I was even trying against Nate,” Paul replied.

“We’re going to get you through this fight nice and fast so you can retire after.”

Askren clarified that he was talking about Ben Darmstadt, before Jake Paul went on a tangent, asking his opponents if he’s ever taken drugs, saying he needs “help taking his edge off.”

While Askren ignored most of Paul’s questions, he had the final jab ahead of the bout.

“You gave up here like you’re going to give up in our fight. You don’t have the heart. Please don’t back out of our fight.”

Jake Paul vs Ben Askren is locked in for April 17, and is set to be one of the biggest PPV fights in history.
