Is Cloak joining 100 Thieves? Clues hint at Nadeshot’s next top streamer

100 Thieves has become arguably one of the biggest brands in esports since its 2017 inception, and it’s starting to seem like Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag may have found his next recruit in Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore.

The professional Fortnite player has a good rapport with Nadeshot and the rest of the 100 Thieves organization, often spending time in the 100 Thieves content house to visit his friends, even streaming out of there at points in 2019.

It’s been rumored for a while now that Cloakzy could be joining his friends in the 100 Thieves organization, with Nadeshot himself saying he would like Cloak to be the next recruit to join the team.

Nadeshot and Cloakzy have a very good friendship, and the CEO has expressed his interest in Cloak representing 100 Thieves.

Now, the evidence is adding up to suggest that the move could finally be happening after months of speculation.

Firstly, Nade held his cards close to his chest when showing off the streaming studios at 100 Thieves’ new $35m facility saying that news about Streaming Studio 4 “hasn’t been announced yet” but promises the news is “coming soon.”

Naturally, this led to speculation of a new member joining 100 Thieves, but didn’t really offer enough for fans to formulate real ideas of who it could be. That said, just a week later, a tweet posted by Cloakzy’s girlfriend Alexia helped some fans decide what they think it means.

On January 27, Alexia posted a tweet revealing that she’s moving to Los Angeles from New Jersey, believed to be a move to get closer to Cloak himself.

She also mentioned that she “may have ended up in the same building” as 100 Thieves content creator Rachel ‘Valkyrae’ Hoffsetter, which fans think may be a hint that the move means more than meets the eye.

In a follow-up tweet, Alexia said that no, she didn’t break up with Cloak, and also clarified that she is living in the same apartment complex as Valkyrae, not the 100 Thieves content house.

Of course, many fans have picked this up and believe it to be proof that Cloak will be joining 100 Thieves, especially since the rumors have been raging on for so long now.

However, everybody involved is keeping very tight-lipped on the situation, neither confirming nor denying that Cloak could be on his way to 100T – but it seems fans might have already made up their minds.
