When it comes to PUBG, the Doc has a love-hate relationship with the popular battle royale title. He’s had his own weapon skins in-game, teased having even more, but he’s also uninstalled the game more times than anyone can count.
Yet, he can’t seem to quit it. Whether it be the realistic feel of a battle royale compared to something like Fortnite or Apex Legends, nobody can be quite sure. One thing we do know for certain, however, is that regardless of whether he’s playing on not – he can’t help himself when it comes to taking a shot at the developers.
During his August 19 stream, The Doc had been playing PUBG for a few hours before he hopped off for a break and decided to scroll through YouTube and Twitch clips with his viewers.
He stumbled across the new ‘Rabbit Season’ skins trailer for PUBG when he jumped right in with a commentary of his own – making the teaser exponentially better. “Hey, Hi, I’m the new creative director for Battlegrounds,” he stated, in a hilariously childish voice.
“I got hired all the way in South Korea – I have a brilliant idea for some new skins!” he added, continuing on with his childish giggles as circus-like music rang out in the background. “Battlegrounds! Corporation.”
Instead of tearing the trailer to shreds with some parting comments, perhaps comparing it to Fortnite, The Doc instead just switched right back to his deadpan stare and closed his browser down – opting to find some other trailers to commentate over.
Whether or not the Doc decides to shell out for the childish new look remains to be seen, but the pink jumper and bunny logo wouldn’t quite match his high intense violence, speed, and momentum.
