MW2 rifle has “utterly insane” TTK in Warzone but there’s a catch

At the start of the Modern Warfare 3 Warzone cycle, many players were concerned that weapons from the previous games – Modern Warfare 2 – wouldn’t be able to impact the meta at all.
That hasn’t been the case, however, as a number of MW2 guns have proven to be rather strong. Following recent updates, the likes of the M13C, Tempus Torrent, and STB 556 have all gotten some love thanks to their strong TTKs (Time to Kill) at different ranges.
As a result, some Warzone fans have continued to look for other options from MW2, and stats guru WhosImmortal may have just found another that has an “utterly insane” TTK.
Best FTAC Recon loadout in Warzone for Modern Warfare 3
The weapon in question? That would be the FTAC Recon. The Warzone expert highlighted the battle rifle in his February 25 video, noting that it is one of the most “overpowered” guns in the game. However, there is a catch to it.
“One of those that I think is truly a bit underrated, maybe for some valid reasons, but for others this could be a serious contender as a top TTK option – the FTAC Recon,” the YouTuber said.
“This thing’s TTK is utterly insane over the mid-range area and even the long-range area where you’re going to be using this the most. If you can be extremely accurate with a weapon like this, you’re going to decimate everyone, it’s just a higher skill gap weapon that we have in the game.”

The only drawback and catch with the Modern Warfare 2 rifle is the small ammo capacity. You’ll only have a 15-round mag, but the Recon packs a serious punch if you can overlook that.
It remains to be seen if it can match some of the other MW2 guns that have come back into the thinking for the Warzone meta, but it’s clearly an option for some.
