Modern Warfare 2’s highly anticipated campaign remaster has just been announced alongside their exclusive Ghost Team bundle for Warzone and Modern Warfare (2019), so here’s how to get it for PS4, Xbox and PC.
Activision have teamed up with Beenox to bring back the second installment of Modern Warfare’s iconic trilogy. Following the PlayStation Store’s premature release of the campaign’s trailer, fans have been eager to get their hands on the gripping campaign.
Remastered with HDR lighting, audio upgrades and 4K resolution support, players will be able to enjoy MW2’s compelling narrative first on PlayStation 4, with other platforms to follow.
How to get Modern Warfare 2 Remastered on PS4
Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered will release first on PS4 and is available to buy via the in-game store in either Modern Warfare or Warzone, or the PlayStation Store, from 10 AM (PST) / 1 PM (EST) / 6 PM (BST) on March 31.
Alongside getting access to the campaign, players will also snag the ‘Ghost Team’ bundle, which includes a replica skin of MW2’s Ghost, dubbed ‘UDT Ghost’ and costs $19.99 (USD) — prices may vary depending on your native currency.
Alongside a throwback version of Ghost, fans will have access to a number of other goodies, including weapon blueprints, voice quips and Ghost-themed player card/emblem.
How to get Modern Warfare 2 Remastered on Xbox and PC
Fans on other platforms such as Xbox and PC will be able to pre-order their digital copy of MW2 Remastered via the same in-game stores or on their platform’s store.
Cost remains the same on all platforms, and if you pre-order MW2’s campaign remaster, you will have immediate access to the Ghost Team bundle in both online multiplayer and Warzone, but will have to wait until the campaign is set live on April 30 to play through.
