After a surprise buff during Season 2, the TAQ Evolvere quickly became the most-used gun in Warzone. However, it was nerfed shortly after with Raven revealing its recoil didn’t “function as intended,” following the initial buff.

It was the TAQ Evolvere’s spectacular accuracy that made it meta in the first place, but even after the nerf it remains the most popular weapon. Though no longer laser accurate, this LMG is still amongst one of the best weapons in Warzone and is remarkably easy to use regardless of skill level.

The TAQ Evolvere is one of the easiest guns to use in Warzone thanks to its spectacular accuracy.

We are going to want to reel in the recoil of this weapon, which starts with the VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor to not only help with vertical and horizontal recoil control, but also boost damage range and bullet velocity.

This is also going to be true with the LRF Righteous Long Barrel while also giving a bump to your ADS speed and movement speed.

ADS speed is also a focus for the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x and the Rampart Heavy Stock, and even a little bit more recoil control. Further, the optic will improve your accuracy so that you can land your shots more effectively.

Finally, ADS speed gets more attention with the Bruen Pivot Vertical Grip.

  • Perk 1: Double Time
    • increases the duration of your Tac Sprint
  • Perk 2: Sleight of Hand
    • faster reloading
  • Perk 3: Quick Fix
    • start health regeneration when killing a player or inserting a plate
  • Perk 4: Resolute
    • get a boost of speed when hit with an enemy bullet
  • Lethal: Throwing Knife

You will want to use Double Time and Resolute to give yourself better movement speed in each match. Both can get you to cover before getting gunned down, or even repositioned before your enemy can reach your position.

Then Sleight of Hand is going to help you get your gun ready to go as fast as you can, while using Quick Fix is going to make health regeneration much easier.

The Throwing Knife is a meta choice for your lethal equipment thanks to its high damage, though you will have to be able to land your throws. The Smoke Grenade is a great way to provided cover when you need it.

How to unlock TAQ Evolvere in Warzone

The TAQ Evolvere is unlocked through the Armory by activating the LMG and then completing 3 Daily Challenges. Prior to Season 2, it was instead unlocked by completing specific weekly challenges but these are no longer available.
