Best SOA Subverter loadout for Warzone: Class setup, attachments, Perks

SOA Subverter in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Introduced in Season 2 Reloaded, the SOA Subverter battle rifle hits hard at just about any range if you can keep it on target. We’ve got the meta loadout that makes the most of its strengths in Warzone including recommended attachments, Perks, and equipment.

The Season 2 Reloaded update added a new battle rifle to Warzone, and it emerged as a clear meta contender. The SOA Subverter offers both fantastic damage and good accuracy, especially with the right build.

However, making the most out of this weapon can be tricky as it has a unique recoil spray pattern that makes a typical Warzone loadout less effective.

If you want to know how to make an optimized SOA Subverter loadout you’ve come to the right place with our build making the most of this battle rifle’s huge upsides.

Best SOA Subverter Warzone loadout

  • Muzzle: VT-7 Spiritfire Suppressor
  • Barrel: Dozer-90 Long Barrel
  • Optic: Corio Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum

While the SOA Subverter doesn’t produce too much recoil, it does move around a fair bit left and right which can make the battle rifle tricky to keep on target at times. To fix this the Bruen Heavy Support Grip underbarrel is a must-use attachment.

To further improve recoil you’ll also want to equip both the Dozer-90 Long Barrel and VT-7 Spiritfire Suppresor muzzle. Not only do these make the SOA Subverter much more accurate but also improve its damage range and suppress outgoing fire, both extremely useful for Warzone.

To make the SOA Subverter even better it’s best to equip the 50 Round Drum magazine which provides a massive 150% boost to magazine capacity when compared to the rifle’s stock 20 rounds. Due to Warzone’s longer TTK, this is an essential attachment to get the most out of this weapon.

Finally, a suitable medium to long-range optic goes a long way in making the SOA Subverter much easier to use from afar. There are a few good options but we like the meta Corio Eagleseye 2.5x which provides high magnification, clear sightlines, and produces relatively little visual recoil.

SOA Subverter Warzone loadout: Perks & Equipment

  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Strong Arm
  • Perk 3: Resupply
  • Perk 4: Resolute
  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Snapshot Grenade

As with most Warzone loadouts, you will want to use Double Time with it comfortably being the best Perk 1 in the battle royale right now. We recommend partnering with Strong Arm which has great synergy with several other aspects of this loadout.

One such aspect is Resupply, a Perk 3 that recharges equipment every 50 seconds keeping you topped up with grenades. This is great for providing your team with the utility needed to win more games.

In Perk slot 4, you’ll want to use Resolute which increases your movement speed after taking damage from enemy gunfire. This is ideal with the SOA Subverter as it has a slower sprint speed stat that can leave you vulnerable when traversing open areas.

To get the most out of Resupply and Strong Arm, equip a Semtex and Snapshot Grenade. The Semtex offers a powerful explosive that can be stuck to enemies to quickly down them while Snapshot Grenades are great for scouting areas and tracking down enemy players hiding behind cover.

How to unlock the SOA Subverter in Warzone

Post Season 2 Reloaded, the SOA Subverter can be unlocked by activating the Armory Unlock and completing five Daily Challenges. With MW3’s shared ecosystem, you can complete any five challenges in multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies.

Speaking of Zombies, you can extract the SOA Subverter in Zombies to instantly unlock it.

Best alternative to SOA Subverter in Warzone

Despite it being an LMG, the TAQ Evolvere is a great alternative to the SOA Subverter as it also offers high damage and manageable recoil at just about any range.
