A Twitch streamer by the name of Perri has gone viral after she was shown playing Palworld hands-free while live by using her brain to control her in-game actions.

Palworld has shocked the gaming community after it quickly stormed to the top of the Steam and Game Pass charts by selling millions of copies.

Naturally, this led to various creators and streamers broadcasting them playing the survival-crafting game as viewership soared. Ever since it released it has remained as one of Twitch’s leading games.

Now, Twitch streamer Perri has gone viral after she shocked viewers by using “mind control” to play Palworld.

Twitch streamer Perri plays Palworld with her mind

Perri was streaming live on Twitch, when she decided to head to Palworld. She began changing different in-game settings and testing using various equipment to allow her to play the game by using her brain.

Over the course of the stream, she showed off her abilities of catching Pals with Spheres, attacking, jumping, interractions, changing weapons, crafting and building by using her mind via the use of an EEG device.

An electroencephalogram (EEG) device is used to record brain activity by the use of small painless sensors that are placed onto a person’s head. These sensors pick up the electrical signals produced by the brain.

In this case, Perri has used four different keybinds to perform in-game actions that activate when the response from each brain signal is received by the sensors. This was then partnered with the use of a gyro placed on her head and eye tracking technology, which allowed them to move and navigate around the world, as well as aim in the game.

In a post to Perri’s Twitter/X account, she stated: “Mind control Palworld? Done. Four mental commands in my best, most complete controller yet.” The short clip has since gone viral across socials.

The streamer’s content centers around pushing the boundaries of using various EEG devices and accessibility focused technology to play various games hands-free. These include Perri taking on major FPS titles and legitimately eliminating various enemies in Valorant, Halo and Overwatch 2.
