Palworld is finally out in the wild and popular Twitch Streamer, Asmongold, has given his early impressions of the Pokemon-inspired game.

Asmongold has been busy playing through Palworld, a new open world survival game that enables players to catch and battle monsters. Palworld has been dubbed as “Pokemon with guns” by many players and so far, it seems to be a hit.

The game is already hitting over a hundred thousand peak viewers with 723k total hours of watch time in its first day alone. With Palworld also being available to play on Xbox Game Pass, the figures will undoubtedly rise in the weeks to come.

While it’s still early days for Palworld, that hasn’t stopped Asmongold from giving his first impressions of the creature-collecting game.

“So far, my experience, if I had to rate it after about one hour of playing – probably less than that, would be a nine,” said the streamer. “I’ve been enjoying this a lot. Like I’m not saying that the game is amazing, it’s the greatest game that’s ever been gamed, but right now that’s what I would rate the game.”

Palworld has certainly gotten the attention of the wider gaming community, particularly from the Pokemon fanbase. In fact, many Pocket Monster fans have even urged people not to purchase the game entirely

Either way, that hasn’t stopped players and streamers alike from enjoying Palworld – Asmongold being one of them. “The reason why I like it is because there are stupid weird things,” explained Asmongold. “I like games that allow you to do stupid, weird sh*t. This game definitely allows you to do stupid sh*t and I appreciate that.”

One of those “weird things” is the ability to capture and sell human NPCs, an area that has both shocked, baffled, and amazed those playing. Either way, it certainly seems that Palworld has gained traction amongst the gaming and streaming community.
