Victoria Justice was very candid about her first time filming an explicit romance scene, referring to the experience as “uncomfortable.”

As an actor, your first time filming a explicit romance scene could go many different ways, but Justice has been very candid on how her experience wasn’t all glitz and glamor.

During a recent appearance on Sirius XM’s Hits 1 LA with Tony Fly and Symon, the Victorious alumni got very candid about filming her first scene of this kind for her upcoming crime thriller Depravity.

“My first day on set I had my first ever sex scene,” Justice explained. “I’m like, ‘Really, guys? We’re gonna schedule this for the first day? Cool. Thanks for that. It is uncomfortable. I was actually very nervous about it and totally anxious about the entire situation, and I was like, ‘Did I make the wrong choice? I don’t know if I should do this.’

“I think sometimes people think filming sex scenes or anything like an intimate scene that it’s really sexy…it’s really not. It’s uncomfortable, honestly, and there’s a bunch of random dudes in the room breathing and watching you.”

The actress continued, “The actor I was working with we were friends as much as we could be. We barely knew each other because it was the first day of filming. He was a super nice guy and made me feel safe and was very polite and respectful.”

Despite the experience of the scene was not what she expected, Justice made sure to express that she “had a lot of faith and trust in our director [because] he made me feel very comfortable about it and said, ‘Listen, I’ll show it to you beforehand. If you don’t like it then we’ll change it.’”

Justice concluded by saying that the scene itself “went well” and that she believes audiences will find it “very tasteful.”

Depravity will follow a group of tenants who suspect their neighbor of being a serial killer and, during their investigation to prove he’s guilty, they accidentally stumble upon an art heist that’s worth millions.

Though the rights to the movie were picked up by Paramount last December, Depravity has no official release date at this time.
