Former UFC BMF champ Jorge Masvidal has signed a deal with upstart streaming platform Kick, bringing his Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA promotion to the Twitch rival.

Slowly but surely, Kick has been making waves not only in the streaming space, but in the sporting world of late too. From signing content creators to unprecedented, blockbuster deals, to firing shots at Twitch every chance possible, the newcomer in the streaming space has been all the rage in recent months.

Spending money far and wide, Kick even backed an F1 team for the 2024 season, with the Kick Sauber C44 sporting an all black and green livery to mirror the platform’s branding.

Now, in its next step into the mainstream sporting world, Kick has inked a deal to bring MMA to the platform in a unique capacity. Partnering up with Jorge Masvidal, former UFC star and inaugural BMF champ, his Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA promotion will now stream on the up-and-coming platform.

News comes by way of ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, who first reported the streaming partnership between Kick and Gamebred. It encompasses “all cards and fight-week events,” meaning fans can tune in and watch every bit of action online.

The streaming deal kicks off properly this week with a card headlined by two former UFC fighters. One an ex-champion in Junior dos Santos, the other a former Bare Knuckle champ in Alan Belcher.

It’s unclear if the promotion plans to venture into the PPV space, charging fans to access certain broadcasts in the coming years. But for now, it appears all Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA events will be featured on Kick for free.

Complementary broadcasts include Open Workouts, Press Conferences, and Ceremonial Weigh Ins, much like the UFC. All of these additional elements surrounding “the most violent show on Earth” will also be streamed exclusively on Kick.
