With Pokemon Scarlet & Violet now seemingly at an end, fans are already eagerly dreaming up concepts for the next generation, including some clever regional variants.

Pokemon fans are always happy to dream up some new Pocket Monsters, and with Pokemon Scarlet & Violet coming to a close thanks to The Indigo Disk DLC and the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Epilogue, there’s never been a better time to look to the future.

One of the most exciting changes in recent generations has been the addition of different forms, whether it’s regional Pokemon, Paradox forms, or even the slightly strange ‘convergent evolutions’ such as Wiglett.

Still, the idea of new forms is here to stay, and it’s a great way to show existing Pokemon some love. With that in mind, one Pokemon player is sharing their idea for a new Sinistea variant, and other fans love the unique designs.

Sinistea becomes Sinisoda in new Pokemon fan-art

As shared by artist chuunicoded in a Reddit post, this fun new take on the existing Pokemon Polteageist and Sinistea posits the tea-based Pokemon as soda instead, and the designs are adorable.

In the original post, the artist comments, “Silly idea my husband had that I just had to doodle lmao.” While it might be “silly,” people are still going wild for the idea in comments, with many players adding their own ideas for types, moves, and more.

One person comments, saying, “They evolve using Name Brand Soda (authentic) and Store Brand Soda (phony).” While another adds, “Have it be part poison because soda unlike matcha and tea it’s unhealthy for you.”

One comment posits a genius name for the Pokemon, saying, “mountainboo” before another user suggests, “Okay, but consider: Mochageist and Sinispresso.”

Other fans are having fun imagining the origins for the designs as well, with one comment adding, “I can see this as a Unova variant.” Another comment backs this up, adding, “We should have these in a bw remake.”

We might have a while to wait for the next Pokemon generation, but hopefully a filler title like Pokemon Legends: Arceus will still introduce some fun new forms to tide over eager players. For now, imaginative posts like this one can help to keep the community excited for the future.
