How to get the Glider in Palworld & the best one to craft

Palworld glider

Palworld’s ongoing lawsuit with Pokemon and Nintendo has forced the developers to make a major change to the way you get around, with Pals no longer being an option. As such, the only way to glide is with a Glider or a Parachute.

There’s so much to explore in Palworld, from all the amazing Pals, various crafting recipes to help you farm schematics, and of course, the ability to breed all your captured monsters. So, you’ll need something to get you around the map quickly, especially if you want to grab that Legendary Pal.

While fast traveling is a thing in Palworld, one of the best ways to get around is through a Glider or parachute, especially now you can no longer use a Pal. So, here’s how to craft every Glider in Palworld.

How to craft a Glider

To make a Glider in Palworld, you’ll need to unlock the Normal Parachute in the Technology Menu. It’s worth noting that you’ll need to unlock Section 5 to access the Parachute, so you may need to level up a bit. Though you’ll likely reach that level by completing the tutorial.

Once you’re able, purchase the Normal Parachute research in the Technology Menu for two Technology Points.

Then you’ll be ready to craft the Normal Parachute, which we recommend doing to start with. You’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 10 Wood
  • 2 Cloth

Thankfully, both materials are pretty easy to get. Simply cut down trees or pick up wood from the ground and check out Lamballs or other weaker creatures in the game’s first biome for Cloth.

Best Glider to get in Palworld

In terms of speed and efficiency, the Hyper Glider is the best Glider in Palworld, but it’s only really achievable in the late game and will require a Production Assembly Line II to craft.

However, it’s the fastest Glider in the game and is undeniably the one you’ll want to build up towards as you progress.

So, that’s all you need to know about Gliders in Palworld. While hunting for more Cloth or Wood be sure to check out how to beat Saya and Selyne, all Technology Levels and crafting blueprints, or how to get and use Lockpicking tools.
