Overwatch teases new Doomfist Halloween skin

The Overwatch Halloween Terror event starts on October 9 but fans are already getting a taste of some of this year’s Halloween exclusive skins.

The first skin to be revealed by Overwatch in the days leading up to the event is “Swamp Monster” Doomfist, a legendary skin that makes Doomfist look like he came straight out of the Black Lagoon.

He’s gotten gills, frills, and a ton of great detail to transform into this beast. This is also Doomfist’s first Halloween outfit after being left out in the cold last year.

You can practically see the “Doomfish” meme coming to life before your very eyes, already there have been references to the 2017 film “The Shape of Water” which is basically about a woman falling in love with a swamp monster – which tell you all you need to know about how the Overwatch community feels about this skin.

Overwatch usually teases out legendary skins and other collectible cosmetics before the start of any special themed events – so Doomfist is sure to be just the first of many awesome Halloween skins to come.

New legendary skins are one of the best parts about seasonal Overwatch events, and now Doomfist won’t look out of place smashing Zomnics in the Junkenstein’s Revenge PvE mode.

The Overwatch Halloween Terror event starts on October 9 and runs through the end of the month, so start saving those coins now.
