Overwatch 2 has revealed its next anime collab with Cowboy Bepop will be arriving on March 12 and will feature some banger skins and other cosmetics.

Ever since the worlds of Overwatch 2 and One Punch Man collided last year, fans have been eagerly awaiting news on the next collab. After a short tease to close out the Season 9 trailer, we finally have confirmation on Cowboy Bebob and OW2.

As part of the collab, music from Cowboy Bebop will be featured in-game and players will have a chance to unlock a suite of new skins in which OW2 characters cosplay as characters from the anime.

Unfortunately for supports, only DPS and tank heroes are getting skins this time around, but from what we’ve seen so far, the skins are straight fire.

Cowboy Bebop Overwatch 2 skins announced

In total, there will be five skins for this crossover event – four legendary and one that players can unlock for free.

The Legendary skins consist of Spike Spiegel Cassidy, Faye Valentine Ashe, Jet Black Mauga and Ed Sombra.

Ein Wreckingball will be able to be unlocked for free, so be sure to keep your eyes out for more information as it becomes available. All five skins are set to be revealed on March 11, one day before the event starts.

Overwatch 2 cowboy bebop intro

Overwatch 2 Associate Director Aimee Dennett was “honored” to be collabing with Cowboy Bebop and crafting unique cosmetics from the series.

“This collaboration is a wonderful way to pay homage to the legendary stories, art, animation, and music of the Cowboy Bebop series. We hope its fans and our players have as much fun with what we’re bringing to Overwatch 2 as we did in creating it,” she said.

See you in game, space cowboys.
