LEGO Technic gets price cuts at Walmart: Lamborghini, Bugatti & more

Walmart has handed LEGO Technic sets nearly $50 in discounts. There are LEGO-reimagined Lamborghinis, a Bugatti, and more. Here’s what you can expect. 

LEGO Technic sets are extremely popular, not only among experienced LEGO builders but also among professional and aspiring engineers. Each kit in this collection provides LEGO enthusiasts from as young as age seven and up with an immersive and rewarding building experience. 

Indeed, among the newly-released LEGO Technic sets there is a host of LEGO Technic models for kids. However, the arguably most impressive LEGO Technic kits are those designed for grownups, accomplished LEGO Technic fans aged 18 and up. 

Now, Walmart has cut the prices of several sets in LEGO’s Technic range. What’s more, there are discounted kits for nearly all ages, ranging from nine and up to 18 and up. So, if you’re an adult and grab one of these sets, why not get another the young LEGO builder in your life. Yup, let them join in the fun. 

We have rounded up each LEGO Technic kit currently available at a discounted price at Walmart. Here’s what you can expect. 

1. LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 — 42115

The LEGO-reimagined Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 is a must-have for LEGO enthusiasts and fans of the Raging Bull brand who are aged 18 and up. Indeed, it’s one of the best LEGO Technic sets for adults. 

Dressed in a vibrant lime-green body hue and riding on gold-colored wheels, the completed model looks exquisite. It’s a spot-on recreation of the original. As such, it’s worthy of centerpiece status, whether you display it in your home or office, or “park” it on a shelf in your garage. 

The LEGO replica of Lamborghini’s “flash of lightning” (that’s what Sián stands for if you were wondering) features a LEGO-built V12 engine, complete with moving pistons, sending (imaginative) power to all four wheels via an eight-speed transmission. Yup, it’s all-wheel drive. 

The set is also equipped with functional steering and front and rear suspension. The rear wing can also be lowered for improved aerodynamics. 

However, the exquisite detailing doesn’t stop there. Opening this LEGO Technic model’s scissor doors reveals an intricately designed interior. The latter features an instrument cluster and several Lamborghini badges. 

Comprising 3696 pieces, this kit is sure to provide you with a rewarding building experience. Once all the pieces have been clicked together, the set measures five inches tall, nine inches wide, and 23 inches long. 

Walmart has dropped the price of this set by $49.96 to $399.99

2. LEGO Technic Audi RS Q e-tron — 42160

LEGO’s recreation of Audi’s RS Q e-tron rally car promises an immersive playing experience. Of course, comprising 914 pieces, the building experience will be equally so However, this kit’s pièce de résistance is the functionality it offers. 

Kids aged 10 and up and grownups who are young at heart will love the latter. This LEGO-reimagined Audi can be controlled via LEGO’s CONTROL+ app. How neat is that? Thanks to this, you can drive this LEGO Technic kit forward, backward, and steer it. 

In addition, this remote-controlled version of the brand with the four rings electric rally car sports an array of additional functions. These include independent suspension at all four corners. 

There are also an array of authentic design details, such as the original’s livery. For this model, LEGO has also created a new Technic wheel element. 

The completed model measures six inches tall, seven inches wide, and 14.5 inches long. Walmart has discounted this set’s price by $18.09 to $161.90

3. LEGO Technic Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 — 42138

The Ford Mustang is an iconic motor vehicle. The name “Shelby” is iconic, too. A Mustang Shelby, especially the GT500-badged version, is a true-blue muscle car. 

So, if you ever wanted to get behind the wheel of one, now is your chance. It’s in LEGO format, though. Getting in won’t be an option, however. But don’t let that stop you. You can always use your imagination. 

However, you don’t need your imagination to drive it. This LEGO Technic model is equipped with a duo of pull-back motors. This allows Ford fans aged nine and up to immersive themselves into the world of drag racing. 

In addition, you can put this Blue Oval muscle car on a virtual racetrack. All you need to do is download the AR app. There are also challenges that you can complete. 

The set comprises 544 pieces. The completed build measures three inches tall, four-and-a-half inches wide, and 10.5 inches long. This kit has been discounted by $10 to $39.99 at Walmart.

Of course, this isn’t the only Ford Mustang-inspired LEGO model. Come March 1, 2024, LEGO will introduce a replica of the Mustang Dark Horse to its LEGO Speed Champions collection. 

4. LEGO Technic Bugatti Bolide — 42151

Bugatti has built some of the most exquisite hypercars to ever grace the road. The Bolide is no exception. 

However, if you missed out on securing an example of the real-life model (only 40 were made, each priced at a whopping $4.3 million), why not go for the LEGO replica? In addition, whereas the original Bolide isn’t street-legal, the LEGO version can be raced wherever you choose. 

Dressed in a yellow-and-black color scheme, the LEGO-reimagined Bugatti Bolide looks striking. Comprising 905 pieces, the completed build measures three inches tall, five inches wide, and 12 inches long. It’s sure to make for a great display piece. 

Of course, as this is a LEGO Technic model, there is much more to it. Designed for kids aged nine and up, this kit is equipped with a LEGO-recreated W16 engine and steering. Scissor doors are also present. 

Walmart has cut the price of this set by $7.27 to $42.72.

5. LEGO Technic NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 — 42153

Ever wanted to prove yourself on the oval? Well, if you want to go fast, you’ll arguably need some training first. It’s best to start slow. So, why not get in the zone with a LEGO-reimagined NASCAR racer? 

The LEGO Technic NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will allow you to do just that. In addition, you don’t need a NASCAR license. You only need to be aged nine and up. In addition, you don’t even need an oval. You can “race” this model anywhere you like. 

Comprising 672 pieces, this LEGO Technic kit features several authentic details, including a V8 engine with moving pistons. It also sports steering functionality. 

In addition, this eye-catching set will look great on display. Dressed in the original livery, it measures three inches tall, five inches wide, and 11 inches long.

6. LEGO Technic Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica — 42161

So you’re not yet old enough to build the LEGO-reimagined Lamborghini Sián, but want a LEGO Raging Bull of your own? Well, look no further. 

The 806-piece LEGO Technic Huracán Tecnica is sure to provide kids aged nine and up with a rewarding building experience. Once you’ve clicked together all these LEGO replica pieces, it will also make for a spectacular display piece. 

Finished in striking lime green, the completed build measures three inches tall, four-and-a-half inches wide, and 11 inches long. In addition, it is equipped with several true-to-the-original elements. 

The latter includes a LEGO-recreated V10 engine, which features moving pistons, and steering functionality. You can also open up the doors. 

Walmart has discounted this Lamborghini-inspired set’s price by $5.20 to $44.79.
