FaZe Clan has finally unveiled Trevor ‘FunkBomb’ as the newest addition to their Fortnite team, linking up with his former duo partner Nate Hill.

The North American esports organization announced the new signing on their official Twitter account, presenting their fans with the newest pro Fortnite player – ‘FaZe FunkBomb’.

FaZe Clan first announced a Fortnite team in March and has achieved some great success on the tournament scene of late, with Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney scooping first place twice at the Solos Fall Skirmish Series NA event – both in week two and four. Tenney collected two prizes of $37,500 for those wins.

In Duos, FaZe finished in top spot at Twitchcon’s Fall Skirmish Series Week 6, with Tfue and Dennis ‘Cloak’ Lepore scooping a $400,000 prize at the San Jose Convention Center.

FunkBomb will team up with not only Nate Hill, Tfue and Cloak at FaZe in a roster already stacked with top talent. Other members of the active team include Brandon Yelo, Thang ‘SpaceLyon’ Phan, Jason ‘Tennp0’ Wang and Brendan ‘Jaomock’ O’Brien.

FaZe Clan has also posted clips of FunkBomb in action on social media, where the gamer seems to have received an overall positive embrace from fans.

Whilst there has been a warm reception from the fanbase, FaZe FunkBomb will certainly be looking forward to many wins in the future whilst playing on the new icy Fortnite map.

Many changes have been made to the popular battle royale game during the v7.00 and v7.01 patches. The new updates have brought about the introduction of a new snomy biome on the Southwest of the map, X-4 Stormwing fighter jets, zip lines, an Infinity Blade sword for battle and much more for players of all skill levels to enjoy.
