Pizza Hut have gone viral for their unusual Valentine’s day release, and it’s really got people talking.

We’ve had lots of fun fast food releases surrounding Valentine’s day. Krispy Kreme announced that they’d be bringing out some sweet, heart shaped doughnuts, while Dunkin’ brought out a whole new line of cups.

Pizza Hut, on the other hand, have decided on a rather unconventional holiday treat: breakup pizzas.

That’s right, if you’re feeling the heartache this holiday season, then they might just have the pizza for you. Pizza Hut launched its “Goodbye Pies” campaign February 6, which lets customers order free Pizza Hut delivery to the address of an ex-lover.

The flavor will be hot honey, according to the spokesperson: “The rising popularity of the sweet-heat flavor profile has led to Hot Honey becoming the most requested test item by our team members and we are thrilled to have it as the newest addition to our menu.”

Customer’s will also be able to leave a personalized note on the box.

People can’t believe Pizza Hut’s viral “goodbye” pizzas

After the brand shared the news on social media, followers couldn’t wait to weigh in with what they thought about the release.

“This is savage. I love it” one wrote, clearly impressed by the promotion.

“Some of y’all are liking this post, but y’all will be the same ones getting this on the 14th,” another said followed by a crying emoji.

“Tbh I would be happy if I got broken up with this way,” another joked.

“Imagine it’s the night before your wedding and you get this,” one commented.

The service will be offered at select locations in New York City, Miami and Chicago from Feb 6 until Valentine’s Day on Feb 14.

There are plenty of treats to enjoy this Valentine’s season, whether you’re celebrating alone or with a partner, including a big one from Starbucks.
