Twitch streamer surprised by cheeky request for viewer’s “grandma”

Just Chatting streamer Katherine ‘Katerino’ was left in hysterics after a member of her Twitch chat sent her a perverted request, citing their “dying grandma” as the reason.

Twitch is home to all sorts of strange occurrences and it’s not unusual for popular personalities to receive weird requests from their audiences, such as Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys getting asked for her bathwater by thirsty fans.

But one Just Chatting streamer was sent into fits of laughter after someone from her chat sent an unsavoury message with a rather bizarre inquiry.

On September 23, Katerino was streaming in the Just Chatting category when she read out a message from her Twitch chat: “Check instagram dm regarding my sick grandma she need ur help @katerino.”

“Oh my God, this is going to be a penis, isn’t it?” the streamer exclaimed, before grabbing her phone to navigate to the Instagram app.

Suddenly, the Twitch Partner burst into hysterics at what she’d read on her phone screen and said “My God, this is so sad!” before reading out the message. “My grandma is in the hospital and she’s going to die, and she is a lesbian but she’s never seen boobs in her life. Can she please see yours?” it said.

“That’s so charming!” Katherine laughed. “Hahaha, oh man! Oh my God, that’s so sad! Help… Help this grandma!”

Katerino’s Twitch channel has been gaining attention in recent months. She is currently closing in 37,000 subscribers and her live viewer numbers also appear to be on an upward trajectory. 

While ‘Just Chatting’ has become her genre of choice for streams, the 19-year-old is also can also be found playing games like League of Legends, Overwatch, and even Stardew Valley on occasion.

The ability to laugh along with some of the more bizarre jokes, memes, and requests from Twitch chat is a crucial one for any streamer hoping to make it big on Twitch, and Katerino has already proved that she’s capable of doing just that.

Just Chatting is one of the most popular categories on Twitch, probably because it’s a great way for viewers to interact with their favorite streamers on a more personal level

As of the time of this article, the category boasts 73,000 active viewers and 4 million followers.

Katerino’s YouTube channel has also started to gain traction over the summer thanks, in part, to collaboration videos with other popular streamers like Mizkif and Destiny.
