If you’re lucky enough to live in a place where it snows often, then chances are you’ve had a day or two canceled due to the weather as a kid – but one boss wouldn’t let his employees have a day off.

Getting off work because of the weather can normally be as easy as calling in and booking off, and that’s what one TikToker thought, too, before her boss showed up to her door.

Amirraa Ruffin, who goes by ‘pixieamirraa’ on the app, had tried to call off during a blizzard in Portland with freezing rain, eight inches of snow and power outages.

While all these elements might seem like the recipe for a snow day off the job, Amirraa’s boss wasn’t having any of it and decided to pick up the TikToker and her coworkers despite the unfortunate weather.

In a video that’s been viewed over 4 million times so far, Ruffin revealed that her boss picked up every employee who had called out to take them to work.

The clip shows employees standing around in the snow outside of the Verizon store with the caption: “And I was hoping he would just let the store be closed for the day.”

Amirraa further explained in the comments that her boss agreed to drive everyone back home at the end of the day, but that didn’t stop users from voicing mixed opinions on the matter.

“I’d be LIVID,” one wrote.

“Mine did this once and we all got into an accident [because of] the ice,” someone else chimed in.

“Okay but that’s still an amazing boss,” said another, to which Ruffin replied, saying that while she agrees, she wanted to sleep in.

Despite missing out on some sleep, the TikToker revealed that everything went well, with her boss taking the crew to get coffee even though the road conditions weren’t ideal.
