A talented artist shared her jaw-dropping take on the show’s popular character Rem. Her side-by-side re-creation of the blue-haired maiden is so perfect, it’s almost if the heroine has jumped from out of the screen and into real life.

In the story, viewers are introduced to the twin sisters Rem & Ram. The identical siblings are house servants at the Roswaal Mansion, which the protagonist ends up working at upon being taken to the Kingdom of Lugnica.

Cosplayer Lissa ‘melissa_lissova’ teamed up with photographer ‘tosuesan’ to bring the R:Z character to reality. Posing outdoors, the up close shot gives a glimpse into the amount of work that went into capturing the character’s look.

The talented artist perfectly depicted Rem’s signature style by creating her iconic short blue hair, which has bangs covering her right eye. She even got the little details like her black decorated maid headband and pink flower piece.

? The second "Re:Zero" season was postponed to July, the first episode was supposed to be in April. I'm a little upset. But because of the situation in the world, I'm not surprised. Lissa posted more photos of her costume on social media, and even did a side-by-side shot comparison to her work and a figurine of the heroine. She looks so much like her that it has us seeing double.

The cosplayer meticulously mimicked the character’s servant outfit which consists of a frilly white neck and shoulder line, as well as black sleeves and a chest bowtie. Her faithful take is one of the best we’ve seen of Rem to date.

As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Lissa also created a video while acting as the Re:Zero housemaid. Re-creating her movements from the show, the artist does a curtsy in her servant-uniform. The Instagram post went viral, and at the time of writing has over 70,000 views.

After close to four years of waiting, Re:Zero’s second season was unfortunately delayed due to current events around the world. While missing its April date, the new batch of episodes looks to be coming out in July.

Those wanting to catch up in time can watch the entire series on streaming services Crunchyroll and Funimation. Although a bit of advice for newcomers, prepare to have a strong stomach, as the show’s brutal story is packed full of emotions.

One character that has captivated fans in her own unique way is Himiko Toga, one of the primary antagonists of the series. Her sadistic personality has its own bizarre charms, her shapeshifting Quirk gives her the potential to turn into a sinister killer at the drop of a hat.

Cosplayer suzuya_tk blew fans of the shows away on Instagram when she uploaded a photo series exhibiting her fantastic take on the wild character.

Instead of opting for a more rabid depiction of Toga, this cosplayer chose to show a tamer side of the sinister character, adding hints of the villain’s morbidity.

Her hair looks exactly like the character’s, white-blond locks that are pulled back into two messy buns atop her head, with pin straight bangs and wavy sections that fall along the side of her face to frame it.

She sports Toga’s classic school uniform, a cozy looking cream colored jumper which, when blood-free, gives this version of the villain a cuter look.

Her porcelain skin is the backdrop to lovely soft pink lipstick, tying in with the deeper pinks of the eye shadow and the delicate gems stuck on at the corners.

This cuter version of Toga is perfectly contrasted by some of the other images in the series, in which suzuya_tk has applied some fake blood that trickles out of her mouth, on her hands, staining her once pristine uniform.

The series of images altogether has garnered over 16,000 likes, the fantastically accurate cosplay a huge hit among fans.
