According to Dexerto sources, the Los Angeles Thieves are signing Kremp to join the team ahead of Major 2 qualifiers following a disappointing showing at Major 1.

LA Thieves finished the opening split of the 2024 Call of Duty League season dead last in the standings, managing just two wins from the eight matches they played, over Boston Breach and Carolina Royal Ravens, the two teams directly above them in the standings.

Just 18 months out from the organization’s huge Call of Duty League Championship win in the 2022 season, the Thieves find themselves a far cry from where they were that short time ago, while the players from that team thrive on separate teams atop the CDL.

Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Williams has become a monster on OpTic Texas, while Zack ‘Drazah’ Jordan’s Atlanta FaZe placed second at Major 1, falling short to Dylan ‘Envoy’ Hannon’s Toronto Ultra.

Now, not content with letting the results get away from them, LA Thieves have dipped into Challengers and picked up a star from the Boston Open-winning side, FaZe Black.

Kyle ‘Kremp’ Haworth shone in the FaZe Challengers side’s run through the bracket, on a team made up of players that have teetered between the CDL and amateur leagues in recent years.

Kremp represented Boston Breach during the 2023 season having played for their academy team alongside the recently retired Doug ‘Censor’ Martin.

While he failed to follow that up with a starting CDL spot this season, it’s not taken long for Kremp to get the call-up, and fans should expect to see him wearing the black and red of LA Thieves by the time Major 2 qualifiers start on February 16.
