Black Ops 4 players receive additional bonuses with Black Ops Pass

Black Ops Pass owners have received more new benefits on top of the maps and characters that were promised at launch.

The pass, which came with every non-standard version of Black Ops 4 including the Mystery Box edition, the Pro edition, and the Digital Deluxe Edition, was advertised as a pack of multiplayer and zombie maps plus four Blackout characters.

In a new cinematic short promoting ‘Shadowman,’ one of the four Blackout characters that come with the pass, Treyarch announced pass owners will also receive 1,000 Call of Duty points and 300 Nebulium Plasma.

Treyarch has stated that the rewards are a $30 value in addition to the multiplayer maps and other content that will eventually come to the game over the next year.

Nebulium Plasma is used in Zombies to create powerful one-time use elixirs that can stack between rounds. Right now, Plasma is rewarded after Zombie campaigns and corresponds to the number of kills and rounds.

Call of Duty Points are the in-game currency and went live on October 31st, but the ability to purchase things in the game still hasn’t been enabled.

The CoD Points are transferrable between titles and can go back to Black Ops 3 if that’s where the player wants to spend their money. Supply crates are usually introduced about a month after launch, but a legal movement against loot boxes that caused the in-game practice to be banned in Belgium and the Netherlands may be complicating the process of enabling supply crates in Black Ops 4.
