Baldur’s Gate 3 fans have been impressed by Larian’s teaser of a new Shadowheart kiss scene coming to the game.

Baldur’s Gate 3 lets you take on the game in almost any way you want. Whether that be as a noble Paladin or a wise Archmage, the game essentially lets you pick and choose your way through the multiple-act story. This is easily one of the game’s biggest strengths and is one of the reasons why players fell in love with it when it was released in 2023.

Of course, choosing how you want to play also involves choosing what companion you might want to get down and dirty with. Baldur’s Gate 3 players have already expressed their adoration for the game’s colorful cast, with the likes of Astarion, Karlach, and Shadowheart tugging on players’ heartstrings.

Therefore it’s no surprise that players were elated to see God’s favorite princess Shadowheart receive a new kiss scene.

Players were taken aback by how perfect Shadowheart’s new kiss scene was with Lae’Zel. Shadowheart coyly stated, “I suppose you’ve earned it” before snaking her way around a very confused Lae’Zel, homing in on her prey. Before long the pair’s lips met and fans were ecstatic.

“That’s so extra, lmao. Shadowheart being dramatic af,” one player laughed.

“Lmao they did not hold back, I love how it’s so over the top at the start,” another agreed.

Despite the general adoration for the kiss, some fans disagreed, arguing the show of affection looked “weird and stupid”.

It’s likely the devs have more cutesy scenes in the works for players, with Larian still updating Baldur’s Gate 3 and dragging players back into the Forgotten Realms.
