An Apex Legends leak has revealed all the abilities that are in the works for Loba – with two that appear to be pretty similar, though there might be some balancing and testing needed first.

With the start of each new Apex Legends season, players are able to get their hands on an all-new legend that changes the game in one way or another. For quite some time, there have been leaks about unreleased legends – with the newest appearing to be Loba.

The unreleased legend has been rumored as far back as season three, though hints and leaks have released started to appear throughout season four. As the game has begun building towards season five, which is set to launch on May 5, more leaks have reared their head – including some animations.

The Girl from Apex Legends’ Season 4 trailer appears to be Loba.

However, Apex Legends data miner iLootGames has revealed that the character currently has four abilities in the works – with their names and descriptions being revealed, though there is no confirmed distinction between tactical, passive, and ultimate.

The abilities, which had rumored previously, focus on the character’s thieving backstory – as well as her having the ability to teleport across the map through translocation. As of now, her abilities are as follows:

  • Ability 1 – Burglar’s Best Friend – throw a disc and teleport to that location
  • Ability 2 – Supply for Demand – Hold to choose a type of loot. Reveal that type of loot in the area around you through walls
  • Ability 3 – Eye for Quality – Loba can see through nearby walls for loot
  • Ability 4 – Black Market Boutique – Place a device that can steal all nearby loot.

The YouTuber noted that Burglar’s Best Friend would appear to be the Tactical due to some leaked animations, and that Black Market Boutique appears to be her Ultimate considering how powerful it seems.

As for the other two, seeing as they seem to be the same, iLootGames added that Respawn could be testing between them to see which works better as a passive ability.

Of course, though the leaker has been ultra-reliable in the past – including recently with the Prowlers in the Old Ways Event – there is no way of knowing what is in store until Respawn adds the character.

They threw a spanner into the works with the release of season four as every Apex Legends fan was expecting to get Forge but ended up getting Revenant.

How to instantly enter Crypto’s Drone in Apex Legends Season 6

Apex Legends players have got a clever new way to quickly access Crypto’s drone, but it might not be around all that much longer.

Since Respawn released Apex Legends back in February of 2019, the roster of legends has grown and grown – giving players a tonne of different ways to play the battle royale as they go in search of wins.

With the addition of a new legend each season, players have the chance to rethink things, figure out new strategies, and ultimately learn a whole new set of abilities.

This can lead to some pretty neat tricks being uncovered. In the case of Crypto, players have always tried to find quick ways to get into his drone. That’s included jumping on top of bins and charge towers, but now, there is a new way to instantly access the tactical ability. However, it might not be along for all the long.

Crypto has become one of Apex Legends’ most popular characters as the seasons have unfolded.

The new way to instantly use the drone was pointed out by Reddit user bricious, who showed that you need to have a holo-spray ready to go for whenever you want to use the drone.

By tossing out the holo-spray while also quickly tapping the button you use to access the tactical ability, the animation that loads up the drone will be canceled right away and you’ll instantly be able to fly around with the drone.

Similar to the Octane speed boost glitch seen earlier in Season 6, it’s all about the timing, but it doesn’t look ultra-difficult to perfect either.

Yet, as some other players pointed out, it might not be around for too long given the leg up it gives to Crypto mains by cutting out the initial loading animation.

Some other players, like Redditor SnaxelZ, pointed out that because it needs a holo spray, the tactic is also pretty “pay to win.” However, we’ll just have wait and see as to whether or not Respawn decides to patch it.
