Furfrou was the first ever Pokemon with a form-switching ability to be added to Pokemon Go back in 2021 during the Season of Mischief Fashion Week event, where trainers could style the ‘mon with one of the many different Trims available to adjust its appearance.

How to unlock all Furfrou forms in Pokemon Go

Furfrou has a total of 10 forms (or Trims), including its Normal Form. While some of these are available worldwide, most of them are only available in specific regions.

How to change Furfrou’s form

Changing forms is quite simple. Just like the evolution mechanic in the game, you’ll need to have 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust saved up before you can do this.

Follow these steps to change Furfrou’s form in Pokemon Go:

1. Make sure you have 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.
2. Select your favorite Furfrou (appraising is a good way to tell which one is best).
3. Tap the ‘Form Change’ button to see the Trims available in your region.
4. Choose the Trim you want and confirm your choice.

Now you’ll have a stylish new Furfrou to show off to the world! It will cost you the same amount of Candy and Stardust each time you change the form, so make sure you’re happy with your choice before confirming.

How to unlock Furfrou’s Heart Trim form

Furfrou’s Heart Trim form was initially made available during the Valentine’s Day 2022 event. It worked a little differently from the other Trims, as it was event-exclusive instead of region-exclusive.

Heart Trim Furfrou was also featured during the Carnival of Love event from February 13, 2024, to February 15, 2024.
