Streaming star IShowSpeed is now on crutches after injuring his leg while attempting to pull off a backflip during a live broadcast.

Internet icon IShowSpeed is known for his wild antics. From setting off fireworks in his bedroom to getting bitten by snakes, the YouTube streamer is anything but boring.

However, these stunts have landed him in trouble on more than one occasion — such as the time his attempt at making ‘elephant toothpaste’ went totally wrong, earning him a visit from the local fire department.

Now, another one of his antics may have resulted in an injury for the star streamer, and viewers got a front-row seat at the very moment he hurt himself.

IShowSpeed on crutches after backflip fail ends in injury

In February 2024, IShowSpeed traveled to Brazil, where he engaged in a few raucous Carnival celebrations.

During one rambunctious get-together, Speed found himself in the middle of a dance circle. He decided to show off his skills and attempted to pull off a backflip… but he couldn’t stick the landing.

Luckily, he managed to catch himself and was able to play off the moment like nothing happened — but fans noticed the streamer claimed his right leg was hurting in a post on his alternate X account.

“Can anybody tell me what I have?” Speed captioned a photo of his legs. “I can’t walk or I can’t bend it, I only can bend it in like a 180 [degree] obtuse angle.”

Fans were quick to clown the broadcaster, but it looks like he’s taking his injury seriously, as he was later photographed with YouTuber AJ Shabeel using crutches.

Thus far, Speed has yet to say anything more about the situation, but viewers appear to be equal parts concerned and amused by his backflip fail.

This isn’t the first time Speed has frightened fans by sharing his health problems. In 2023, Speed shocked the internet when he was hospitalized in Japan after suffering a serious sinus infection that caused his eye to swell.
