After seeing success with Young Sheldon, Netflix is taking a deeper dive into acquiring other hit series from network television channels like CBS, but in select regions.

Over the years, Netflix has done a superb job in airing fan-favorite series or acquiring licensing rights to its episodes for global audiences. It saw skyrocketing success with USA Network’s legal drama, Suits. It took the throne as the most-watched series over the Summer of 2023.

But it was soon dethroned thanks to a CBS hit, Young Sheldon. Netflix brought the Sheldon clan on board and has also required rights to air its final Season 7. Netflix has licensed another hit series from the network, alongside NBC, Fox, and USA that fans will surely take a sick day to watch. But they will only be available in select regions.

From a beloved yet ethically rambunctious doctor to a Navy investigations team – here’s every series coming to Netflix and where they will be available.

Will the series be available globally on Netflix?

No, House MD, alongside series like Psych and Parenthood are scheduled to be released in select regions and not the United States.

According to What’s On Netflix, the licensing taps have left it to acquire House MD, Psych, Parenthood, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and NCIS. But some may be scratching their heads as NCIS is currently streaming on Netflix.

It’s due to the news of these series joining Netflix only pertaining to select regions, many of which don’t include the U.S. House MD, Psych, and the rest will premiere on Netflix in European countries and some South American.

These titles will primarily be for Europe and Latin America, including Brazil and Argentina. It also extends to select regions in Africa and the Middle East, as well as Australia and New Zealand. The new series will also likely not be available to the United Kingdom.

They will receive all 24 seasons of Law & Order: SVU, 20 seasons of NCIS, all six seasons of Parenthood, and all eight seasons of Psych. Fans may remember that at one point Netflix did have the licensing for both House MD and Psych before they were removed.

For NCIS, it speculated it will be removed from Netflix in 2024. A few of the series are expected to be released in select regions in February, with House MD being on February 1, 2024.
