Deadpool 3 – aka Deadpool & Wolverine – will see the return of Wade Wilson and his fiancée Vanessa… but how is she still alive?

“Pegging isn’t new for me, friendo, but it is for Disney.” Suddenly, the MCU has already been revitalized with the lewd, fourth-wall-breaking antics of Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth.

How is Vanessa alive in Deadpool 3?

Vanessa was saved at the end of Deadpool 2 thanks to Cable’s time-traveling device.

Morena Baccarin’s character was initially killed off early in the sequel when a drug lord broke into their home and shot her, an event that served as the catalyst for the movie’s events.

I have to be very diplomatic about what I say here. I’d like to be in it. They have called me about being in it. Right now, we have not agreed on terms, and everybody’s trying their best, and doing their best. But it may or may not work out. I don’t know.”

Later speaking to CBM, she revealed: “It did work out! I finished my shooting days on it, already. I think the film is now underway again after the strike and I think it’s going to be quite good! Yeah, I think fans are in for a fun surprise.”
