A Pokemon Scarlet & Violet trainer showed off an insane OHKO against 7-star Hisuian Decidueye using Paldean Tauros.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s 7-star Hisuian Decidueye raid event has begun and trainers are eager to take down this hard-hitting Grass/Fighting-type and add it to their team.

However, like most 7-star Raids, players won’t be able to simply waltz into the battle with any old Pokemon and take down Decidueye. Should fans need a little help, we’ve put together an easy-to-follow Raid guide for Hisuian Decidueye.

Those trainers that have prepared for the raid in advance may even be able to take down this massive threat in one hit, like this trainer who took Hisuian Decidueye dead on turn one using Paldean Tauros.

The impressive strategy came from a player on the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet subreddit with the username Nommable123.

They attached a video showing how they managed to pull off the impressive feat. First, the trainer and their teammates used a Blaze Breed Paldean Tauros as the main attacker along with Torkoal, Meowscarada, and Umbreon.

The Paldean Tauros held a Choice Band with the Ability Anger Point, which was the key to pulling off this win.

As for the teammates, the Torkoal used a Focus Sash with the Ability Drought, Meowscarada also held a Focus Sash and had Overgrow, while the Umbreon held a Zoom Lens with the Ability Inner Focus.

First, the Torkoal used Helping Hand on Tauros while Umbreon used Screech to lower Decidueye’s Defense.

Next, Meowscarada uses Flower Trick on Paldean Tauros to land a guaranteed hit which activates Anger Point. This gives Tauros plus 6 Attack which results in a one-hit KO after Tauros uses Flare Blitz.

It’s also worth mentioning that these Pokemon are built with the best stats at the highest level, so that will play an important part when fans try this strategy out for themselves.

For those trainers who have four other friends to coordinate with, this seems to be an excellent strategy for bringing Hisuian Decidueye down fast.
