Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players rush to Venusaur raids for “essential” reward

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players have a reason to participate in the latest 7-Star Tera Raid, as Venusaur is dropping amazing rewards for those who can beat it.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet introduced a picnic mechanic where you can stop on the overworld and make a meal with your Pokemon. This involves building a sandwich to eat with your team, which can result in different bonuses.

You can safely ignore the sandwich mechanic in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, but they’re useful for one thing – Shiny hunting. If you make a sandwich using Herba Mystica, then your chances of encountering Shiny Pokemon of a specific type are increased.

The problem is that Herba Mystica are rare items and can be a pain to farm. Luckily, a new event in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is making it a lot easier to gather these elusive plants.

Venusaur drops Herba Mysticas in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Raids

The new 7-Star Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet feature Venusaur. Those who are able to conquer this mighty Kanto Pokemon are in for a huge reward, as users on the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Reddit are reporting that it drops Herba Mystica when defeated.

“Oh s–t, I’m actually going to update my game and run some of these haha. I haven’t played the 7-Star raids since like Scorbunny,” one user wrote, while another said, “Did three raids and got 2 HM on the third raid. This event is awesome! Hope all mightiest mark raids have HM drops from now on.”

“I’d love this kinda drop, if only my teammates weren’t complete doorknobs, and knew type advantage,” one user lamented, while another joked, “Those memes about smoking Venusaur has finally been manifested lol.”

It bears mentioning that you aren’t guaranteed a chance at getting a Herba Mystica, as each one has a 3% chance of dropping. Still, if you have the ideal counter for Venusaur, then you should have an easy time farming them.

Once Venusaur is rotated out of the Raids, it will be followed by a Steel-Tera type Blastoise and a Dragon-Tera type Charizard. Hopefully, the plant trend continues once the Grass-type Pokemon is out, and the other Kanto starters give players a shot at more Herba Mystica.
