A must-have for Porsche fans, the retired LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 is still in stock at Amazon. However, it comes at a price. 

LEGO currently offers a quartet of brick-built replicas of Porsches, especially of the 911. Why wouldn’t they? The 911 is arguably one of the most popular sports cars to ever grace the road. These models include the LEGO Icons recreation of the classic 911 Turbo and the LEGO Technic replica of the Porsche 911 RSR race car. 

However, there’s arguably no Porsche-inspired LEGO kit more sought after than the LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3. Based on the 991 generation of the German marque’s most-focused offering, this LEGO Technic kit was (and still is) exquisite. There’s no doubt about it. It’s a must-have for Porsche fans. 

But wait. Rewind. Was, you say? Yup, this LEGO-reimagined Porsche is no longer officially available. In fact, it was discontinued as far back as 2019, following a lifespan of 33 months. 

Fortunately, like the retired LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron, Amazon still has stock of box-fresh examples. Indeed, they haven’t been unboxed or built. It’s worth noting, however, that there are currently only five left, though. So you’d have to jump if you want to get your hands on one.

So, if you’ve missed out on grabbing this kit while it was still available, now is the time. It will look great next to your LEGO Technic collection comprising kits like the LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián.

However, you’ll have to dive deep into your pockets. Indeed, what’s even more significant, is by just how much this discontinued LEGO Technic set’s original price ($299.99) has increased since LEGO ceased producing it. By how much? Well, by around a whopping 279%. 

Yet, even so, if you’re a Porsche enthusiast or is fortunate enough to own a previous-generation 911 GT3, you’d likely look past the premium. It is a desirable set, no less. 

The LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS is equipped with a host of authentic elements. Dressed in a vibrant orange body hue, the completed build sports a detailed six-cylinder boxer engine, replete with moving pistons and a working gearbox. The exterior and interior detail are also exquisite.
