LEGODeveloped in partnership with McLaren and the SENNA brand, the in-scale replica of the McLaren MP4/4 features a host of design details reminiscent of the 1988 original with which Senna claimed his first World Champion title. These include the authentic white-and-red livery, and the branding found on the real-life model.
In addition, the LEGO-reimagined McLaren MP4/4 is equipped with a detailed, turbocharged V6 engine. There are also working steering, rod suspension, an adjustable rear wing, and slick tires.
What’s more, the set ships with a display stand. So you can display this kit as a centerpiece or among your other car-inspired LEGO Icons kits. This LEGO F1 car measures five inches tall, six-and-a-half inches wide, and 12.5 inches long.
How cool would it be if LEGO introduces more LEGO Icons sets inspired by other legendary F1 racing drivers, such as Niki Lauda and Michael Schumacher, and their race cars? A collection comprising these will undoubtedly look spectacular.
