The LEGO Star Wars collection comprises myriad exquisite sets taking inspiration from the galaxy far, far away. What’s more, there is a kit for Star Wars fans of nearly any age, from age four and up to 18 and up. 

The LEGO Star Wars models designed for the latter are arguably the most impressive. However, that’s not to say that those that were made for young Star Wars fans aren’t. There are several. So, when you click together the bricks of one of the best Star Wars sets for adults, your children can join in the fun. 

We’ve rounded up the best LEGO Star Wars kits for kids, ranging from ages four and up to teens aged 16 and where you can buy each of them. But, first, what makes a LEGO Star Wars set a best LEGO Star Wars set for kids? 

Well, there are a few aspects to consider, starting with the building experience offered by each kit. The latter must be rewarding and immersive for the age it was designed for. 

In addition, once the model has been completed, it must provide an equally immersive playing experience. It should spark your imagination. 

The overall design of each set was also taken into consideration. Indeed, when you’ve finished reliving iconic scenes from the galaxy far, far away, or have created your own, the kit must look good on display. 

1. LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon — 75192

So, you desire one of the best LEGO Star Wars sets designed for adults but are still a teenager? It’s completely understandable. Each of the latter kits are impressive — no doubt about it.

However, you needn’t be gloomy. Designed for teens aged 16 and up, the LEGO Star Wars model you see here will leave grownups green with envy. It is, in fact, the only LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series set for Star Wars enthusiasts younger than 18. 

Of course, they can get this LEGO-reimagined Millennium Falcon for themselves (they are older than 16, no less). But, here’s an idea, why not share the building experience? Comprising 7541 pieces, the latter is sure to be immersive and rewarding. 

Besides, as you’re a teen, this kit’s asking price might be bit out of your reach. Priced at $849.99, it’s the one of the most expensive LEGO sets currently available. So maybe it will be best to twist your parents’ arms and build it together. You’ll need some help carrying the box, too. It’s huge. 

This set is not only the largest Millennium Falcon LEGO has ever created, it is one of the biggest LEGO models. The completed ship measures 21 inches tall, 23 inches wide, and 33 inches long. 

In addition, it is brimming with authentic details. To name but a few, there are cockpit, several compartments, each filled with unique items, removable hull panels, and a lowering boarding ramp. It also features seven landing legs. Sensor dishes and weapons are also present. 

This set ships with a host of minifigures, including Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, and C-3PO. A figure of BB-8 is also present. 

2. LEGO Star Wars Ghost & Phantom II — 75357

The LEGO Star Wars Ghost & Phantom II kit has to be the best LEGO Star Wars set for kids aged 10 and up. Yet, if you’re not so keen on playing with your set and prefer a spectacular Star Wars-inspired LEGO display piece, we’d argue the LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary R2-D2 is the model to go for. 

However, to make this list, the should not only look good on display. It must provide a thrilling playing experience, and this 1394-piece LEGO Star Wars set will do just that. 

The LEGO Star Wars Ghost & Phantom II kit is packed with authentic elements. The brick-built Ghost features a removable front end, opening hatches, and a detachable turret. It also boasts spring-loaded shooters for when you want to relive battle scenes. 

However, there’s more to this set than just the LEGO-reimagined Ghost. There’s a Phantom II, too. That’s cool. The latter model can be attached to the Ghost, which measures four-and-a-half inches tall, 10.5 inches wide, and 13.5 inches long. 

The kit includes a quartet of minifigures. There are General Hera Syndulla, Lt. Beyta, Jacen Syndulla, and First Officer Hawkins. A Chopper (C1-10P) droid figure is also present.

So you’re not quite old enough for the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon, but desire your own? Well, this might be the answer you’re looking for. Indeed, LEGO offers a Millennium Falcon-inspired kit for kids aged nine and up. 

Comprising 1353 bricks and featuring an array of authentic details, this LEGO-reimagined Millennium Falcon is sure to provide you with an immersive building and thrilling playing experience. So much so, even older LEGO builders will enjoy it. 

This LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon is equipped with an opening cockpit, rotating top and bottom gun turrets, a lowering ramp, and a duo of spring-loaded shooters. Opening the top panels reveals a detailed interior featuring a host of neat elements. The completed model measures five inches tall, 12 inches wide, and 17 inches long.

The set ships with minifigures of Finn, Chewbacca, C-3PO, Lando Calrissian, and Boolio. R2-D2 and D-O droid figures are also present.

4. LEGO Star Wars Imperial TIE Fighter — 75300

Comprising 432 pieces, the LEGO-reimagined Imperial TIE Fighter will undoubtedly provide Star Wars fans aged eight and up with an enjoyable building and action-packed playing experience. 

This brick-built starfighter features an opening cockpit and a couple of spring loaded shooters. So your minifigures can hop in and you can recreate classic battle scenes. A duo of minifigures are included with this kit. There are a TIE Fighter pilot, replete with a blaster piston, and a Stormtrooper. An NI-L8 droid figure is also present.

In addition, the set ships with a Starter Brick base to make the former user-friendly for the young Star Wars fans. It also features a cockpit with space for all three characters. 

The latter includes minifigures of Nash Durango and Nubs, and a RJ-83 droid figure. Several accessories, such as a lightsaber and wrench, are also present. 

The set further features a speeder bike, which can be attached to the back of the two-inch tall, seven-and-a-half-inch wide, and seven-inch-long The Crimson Firehawk model.
