Hogwarts Legacy has finally revealed when the PlayStation-exclusive content that arrived at launch will come to other platforms, along with future updates.

Hogwarts Legacy made waves in the gaming space following its launch on February 10, 2023 and eventually went on to become the best-selling game of the year.

While the game eventually came to all platforms, it initially launched on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. However, PlayStation gamers were treated to exclusive content at launch through the Haunted Hogsmeade quest line.

With Hogwarts Legacy’s one-year anniversary steadily approaching, the developers revealed that this PlayStation-exclusive content will finally make its way to other platforms along with future content updates in 2024.

Hogwarts Legacy teases future content updates in 2024

The confirmation came from the official Hogwarts Legacy X account, which posted an update on January 26, 2024.

The message read: “As we near the one-year anniversary of Hogwarts Legacy, we wanted to let our community know that the Hogwarts Legacy PlayStation-exclusive content will be available on other platforms later this summer, along with additional updates and features for the game.”

The dev team concluded the post by telling fans to keep an eye out “in the coming months” for more concrete details on the content updates coming to the game in 2024.

Thanks to an exclusivity deal with PlayStation, this Haunted Hogsmeade quest—which gives witches and wizards their own shop in Hogsmeade—was PS4 and PS5 exclusive content for a full year.

Thankfully, players on PC, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S can expect the Haunted Hogsmeade quest to arrive sometime in Summer 2024.

As for the other content updates, it’s still unclear what they entail. As fans are well aware, developer Avalanche Software confirmed after launch that the team had no current plans to release DLC.

While many DLC rumors popped up in the months that followed, no concrete details were announced. For now, fans will just have to keep an eye out for any future updates surrounding Hogwarts Legacy.
