Various LEGO Super Mario play sets are selling for historic lowest-ever prices today.

Several LEGO Super Mario kits are down to their cheapest-ever prices today at Amazon with the world’s largest online retailer housing discounts across the board for the line’s most popular models. This includes the Super Mario Adventures Starter Courses and large Expansion Sets.

To kick things off, the LEGO Super Mario Adventures Mario Starter Course is down to just $47.98 (was $60) for 20% off the sticker price. Specifically, that’s a full $12 reduction from the MSRP for its cheapest price to date. It’s only otherwise sold at full price so this discount is great if you want a great set for kids for less.

The LEGO Super Mario starter course includes Mario himself as well as blocky representations of the Goomba and Bowser Jr with a playfield heavily inspired by the early levels of the games. As expected, from titles like Super Mario Bros. Wonder, there’s the starting warp pipe, obstacles to navigate around, and the ending flagpole, too.

That’s not the only beginner set to be discounted today, though. That’s because the LEGO Super Mario Adventures Luigi Starter Course is also down to the lowest-ever price. It’s down to just $47.99 (was $60) for 20% and $12 off, too. This playset includes lights and sounds with everyone’s favorite gaming sibling taking on his own obstacle course which has a more mechanical warehouse vibe than the standard green roaming hills of the former.

What’s particularly special about this set is how Luigi functions. The green plumber is actually Bluetooth-enabled with music, sound, and an LCD screen in his chest. There’s even brick and color recognition which brings a new dimension to the gameplay. If you’re after something a little more high-tech and closer to the games then you may want to consider this option instead.

There’s no shortage of expansion kits available at the lowest prices as well, particularly in the mid-range pricing spectrum. This includes the LEGO Super Mario Yoshi’s Gift House for only $23.99 (was $30) for 20% off. Both Yoshi and Monty Pole are included, and there’s also a functional merry-go-round to spin your characters on while waiting for the gift box to open. This set adds a new dimension to play and can be snapped onto either of the above Starter Courses for further play.

The biggest and the best Super Mario LEGO expansion kit here is the Peach’s Castle Expansion set which recreates the stunning location. The set includes Bowser, Toadette, and a Goomba. It usually retails for $130, however, it’s now 11% off at $115.99. It’s the first price cut on this set that we’re aware of, so well worth it if you’ve been eyeing it up for a while.

Lastly, the Ice Mario Suit and Frozen World Expansion is down to just $19.99 (was $25) for 20% off. This small-scale expansion set includes not only a new suit and cap for Mario but also a frozen environment with a penguin sled and Goomba for a much-needed change of scenery.

These could be considered some of the best LEGO sets for kids and some of the best LEGO gaming sets for those who love platforming action. For more on the building block brand, we’re also rounding up the best LEGO sets for adults and the best LEGO Technic sets, too.
