Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League wants players to experiment with different builds, but the process is a bit confusing. Here’s what you need to know about changing Talents in the game.

In a surprise shift from the Arkham series, Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League focuses on looter-shooter elements akin to Destiny and Borderlands. Each member of the Suicide Squad has their own skill trees, aka Talents, that you must invest in to develop their abilities.

This allows the opportunity to create specific builds, however, there’s no respec feature in the game. Instead, Rocksteady introduced the ability to switch Talents.

With that said, here’s everything you need to know about how to change Talents in the game.

How to change Talents in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – Explained

To switch Talents, simply follow the below steps:

Press the start button (or your platform equivalent of pausing the game) to bring up the menu
Scroll over to Talents
Press the Edit Talents button
- The input command can be found in the bottom left of the screen, under the skill trees. On PS5 and Xbox, it’s the Triangle/Y button. On PC, it’s the W key.
- This highlights the skill tree purple.
When done editing, select “Exit Editing Mode”
- On PS5/Xbox, it’s the Circle/X button. On PC, it’s the Escape key.

When changing Talents, it’s important to note you can only change Talents in the same tier. For example, referencing the screenshot above, Tier 1 of Captain Boomerang’s “Boomin’ Boomerang” tree has three perks. You can only switch Talents if the Tier has multiple perks, meaning if there’s a single perk in a Tier, nothing can be changed.

This process of changing Talents can also be done from the main menu, after starting up Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Simply navigate to Talents using the designated tab buttons, and follow steps 3-4 listed above.
