UPDATE 4:22PM PST August 19:

As reported in a tweet by Rod ‘Slasher’ Breslau on August 19, one of the Korean models ‘sooflower’ revealed on Instagram that the group are only banned for three days, and that they plan to return soon.

“as an update, sooflower says the four girls have been suspended for three days (only), and she thanks everyone for the stream hitting a peak of 30,000 viewers. says they’ll take the next few days to relax and do Instagram before coming back to Twitch,” he tweeted.

Four Korean supermodels were banned on Twitch on August 18 after a risque poolside stream went viral and became the most watched channel in the ‘Just Chatting’ category.

One of the more popular categories on Twitch is ‘Just Chatting’ where streamers can talk to their audience. The category is also often a host of bizarre and unsavory things.

On August 18, a Korean channel featuring several models rolling around in bikinis and pushing their stream towards the NSFW territory caught the eyes of many and Twitch wasn’t happy about it.

The Korean models got banned

Four Korean models named ‘sooflower’, ‘addielyn9’, ‘chobiman0125’ and ‘damicos’, undressed to their bikinis, and streamed around a swimming pool, while interacting with their growing audience.

During the stream, the women posed suggestively, and at one point three of them got into the water behind some glass, and pressed their body against it. The broadcast quickly gained an audience, and even hit over twenty-seven thousand viewers, shooting it to the top of the ‘Just Chatting’ category.

Despite the stream being hosted on sooflower’s channel, Twitch took steps to ban each individual model’s own channel that participated in the poolside broadcast.

This led some users to decry the move, saying that other Twitch personalities have done poolside streams before.

Although the streaming platform bases bans on context and intent, it’s unclear how long their ban is for, as violations of the Community Guidelines can range from a 24 hour ban all the way up to a month.

People were shocked

Popular Twitch personality Tyler ‘Trainwreckstv’ Niknam, ranted about the models stream, saying it was shameless during his August 18 broadcast. “It’s absolutely shameless. It’s like the mannerisms, the behavior. All of it shameless,” he said.

Another Twitch personality ‘m0xxy’ was in a chat with a group of people when he watched the korean models.

A user in the chat asked “M0xxy, you do know there are sites where you can see those kind of girls naked, right?” to which another person replied, “Yeah but this is better, because I see Twitch emotes” which caused the streamer to break out in laughter.

Twitch will often issue bans to channels that violate its Community Guidelines, but it’s unclear most of the time how long the restriction is for unless the streamer gets told themselves and announces it publicly.

In this case, none of the models have commented at the time of writing.

Notorious TikTok vegan That Vegan Teacher has had having multiple accounts banned on the platform for allegedly violating several community guidelines.

That Vegan Teacher, real name Kadie Karen Diekmeyer, has clocked up around 1.5m followers on the app and is known for her very firm vegan beliefs, which she frequently preaches on the app.

She’s also had several run-ins with other top names — including, notably, Minecraft sensation 16-year-old TommyInnit, whose fans bombarded her with hate comments after she suggested someone help him feel more comfortable around girls.

Now, after rumors that she had been arrested in January 2021 (which was proven false), she seems to have been banned from the app almost altogether.

Why was That Vegan Teacher banned on TikTok?

At the time of writing, there’s no clear explanation as to why That Vegan Teacher has been banned on TikTok, with neither her nor TikTok coming out with an explanation.

While the reason hasn’t been confirmed, a disclaimer on her main TikTok profile suggests it’s due to multiple Community Guidelines violations.

This could be any number of things, so it’s impossible to speculate on what exactly the violations could be, and we’ll have to wait for official confirmation before reporting it. According to TikTok’s guidelines though, her misdemeanor could fall under any of these categories:

  • Violent extremism
  • Hateful behavior
  • Illegal activities and regulated goods
  • Violent and graphic content
  • Suicide, self harm and dangerous acts
  • Harassment and bullying
  • Adult nudity and sexual activities
  • Minor safety
  • Integrity and authenticity
  • Platform security

That Vegan Teacher has in the past had her videos reacted to by top celebrities such as Gordon Ramsay, who didn’t seem her biggest fan, and Russell Brand for her divisive takes.

That Vegan Teacher responds to her TikTok ban

A short time later, That Vegan Teacher created a video response to the situation, which she uploaded to YouTube with all comments and likes/dislikes turned off.

In her video, the controversial TikToker accused her critics of being “scared” of telling kids “the truth” about veganism, and alleged that her ban was the work of “veganphobic” users. In her video description, she also alleged that her home had been “attacked” by critics, who left “dead animal parts” on her front door and – even purportedly doxed her personal information.

That’s not all; TikTokers believe That Vegan Teacher started using multiple new TikTok accounts, although these rumors have yet to be fully verified at the time of writing. One account which came under the username ‘that.holocaust.teacher’ has also now been banned by the platform, however, people believe there are several more accounts that belong to her.

Accounts including ‘thatvegannurse,’ ‘theveganteacher,’ and ‘thatmeatteachermisstofu,’ have all been banned by TikTok so far, but TikTokers report more and more popping up that are yet to be removed.

Previously, she has drawn comparisons between animal cruelty and atrocities such as the Holocaust, which is likely a large contributor to why TikTok users would report her and the platform would ultimately kick her off.
