The promotional campaign around the mega-hit film Dune Part Two has reached COD as skins that allow players to become characters from the movie were revealed as a part of the Season 2 Reloaded update.

Activision has released the notes for the Season 2 Reloaded mid-season update. The new wave of content will feature new weapons, killstreaks, and cosmetics for COD players to dive right into.

The update also includes another round of collaborations with brand IP that will bring other franchises into the Call of Duty universe via cosmetics.

Season 2 Reloaded will feature bundles for Warhammer 40,000 and Dune Part Two, the latter of which is making headlines for its box office return and cultural impact.

House Atreides and Harkonnen join the COD battle

According to the update, COD players will be able to purchase two separate Dune Part Two bundles, the Harkonnen Pack and the Paul Atreides Operator Bundle.

The cosmetics will allow players to suit up as the main character, and messiah of the Dune universe Paul, or take on the look of the villains of the first two movies, House Harkonnen. Both cosmetic packs boast futuristic armor and weapon blueprints that try to match the weapons in COD to those seen in the films.

The Harkonnen bundle includes a Harkonnen Hunter Operator skin, two weapon blueprints for an Assualt Rifle and Sniper Rifle, a melee weapon, an animated calling card, a weapon charm, and an animated emblem.

The Paul Atreides Operator Bundle dropped in late 2023, costing about $20, and lets players load into matches wearing the face of the movie’s star Timothée Chalamet along with other cosmetics.

If players purchase both bundles in the Dune Part Two collection, then they will unlock the Paul Atreides Fedaykin Stealth Suit Operator skin. Once players have purchased all of the Dune cosmetics, it will be up to them to choose between playing as the good or bad guys.
