YouTube streaming star IShowSpeed lost his mind during a recent broadcast after accidentally quick selling Cristiano Ronaldo’s Team of the Year card in EA FC 24.

IShowSpeed is a household name in the streaming world, boasting a staggering 22.7 million subscribers on YouTube. The 19-year-old saw a quick rise to stardom, becoming known for his crazy and wild stunts on stream, such as setting off fireworks in his own home — almost burning it down in the process.

On the other hand, many may be familiar with Speed because of his huge obsession with Portguge football star Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he finally met in person and broke the internet for a brief period in 2023 as their photo went viral.

Nevertheless, in a recent broadcast, the young streaming star lost his mind and freaked out after accidentally discarding his football idol’s special TOTY card in EA FC 24.

EA’s Team of the Year for FC 24 has finally arrived. While Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t named in the Men’s TOTY XI, the Portuguese forward did receive a TOTY card as the “12th Man.”

On January 28, IShowSpeed set out to pack CR7’s new TOTY edition. But, even after reportedly spending $30k on points, the streamer had no luck in his packs, resulting in him buying Ronaldo for millions of coins off the market.

However, Speed couldn’t contain his excitement, and accidentally discarded the card he just bought for 13.2 million coins only for a measly 10k in return.

Upon realization, the streamer completely freaked out. Instead of owning up to his mistake, Speed shifted the blame to his dog, who was sitting in his lap at the time it happened.

Thankfully, EA does have a recovery system for quick-sold items, although it’s unclear if he managed to get his idol back.
