The cast of Young Sheldon has got involved in a new TikTok trend ahead of Season 7 – and it’s left fans “crying.”

Fans of Young Sheldon have a lot to cry about over the next few weeks, with the show coming to an end with its seventh season in February.

The Cooper family has had plenty of drama during their time on TV, most recently resulting in a life-changing tornado while Sheldon and Mary have upped sticks to Germany.

While fans are getting ready for Young Sheldon to wrap up, the cast is way ahead of them, jumping on a TikTok trend that has left fans “crying.”

Young Sheldon cast leave fans “crying” with TikTok trend

Fans have been left “crying” after the cast of Young Sheldon recently jumped on a TikTok trend to mark their seventh and final season.

The “We’re the” trend has taken the social media platform by storm, with users explaining something about themselves in a humorous way.

For Sheldon (Iain Armitage), Missy (Raegan Revord), and Georgie (Montana Jordan), this extended to some behind-the-scenes action.

Throughout the clip, exclusive information revealed that Montana’s accent and Sheldon’s penny loafers are real, with Raegan planning to “steal” Missy’s wardrobe.

On top of this, the three kids showed that they go to school while on set and that they love each other like they’re “real siblings.”

“Aww… I’m gonna miss them!” one fan cried on Reddit, with another adding: “It’s been a great show. Enjoy the last season. Watch reruns when you need the nostalgia. The beauty of life can be found in its lack of permanence.”

“The Pennies!! Fun fact: when I was younger I asked my sister why they were called penny loafers but there weren’t any Pennies decorating them- she told me they were built into the sole of the shoe for good luck. They have grown up so much,” a third brought up.

Over on TikTok, fans lavished the praise on the Young Sheldon cast, commenting on the clip in their hundreds.

“So cute,” one comment read, with another adding: “I’m watching this right now and I love the show.”

“Montana looks so much younger than he does in the show,” one fan remarked on the cast’s real ages. “Young Sheldon doesn’t look so young anymore,” another said of Iain Armitage.

Young Sheldon returns to TV with its final outing – Season 7 – on February 15, 2024.
