Customer left baffled after Amazon delivers package to her burnt down house

A woman has been left stunned after repeatedly reaching out to Amazon only for them to still deliver a package to her burnt-down home.

Alli, who goes by ‘allisondaffron‘ on TikTok, never could have guessed that when she placed some orders through Amazon, her house would burn down before they arrived.

However, that is exactly what happened after an electrical fire engulfed Alli’s family house, leaving nothing but a smoldering wreckage behind. While all living in the house were able to make it out safely, Alli did confirm the family’s two cats did not survive.

Now facing a major clean-up job and with caution tape surrounding the burnt building, Alli was left stunned when Amazon refused to hold onto her orders. Instead, the company had one package delivered directly to where her front door used to be.

Posting a TikTok to Ariana Grande’s new song, ‘Yes, and?’, Alli revealed she had called Amazon three times in hopes of changing her delivery address to no avail. Text overlay summarised the phone calls, Alli writing, “My family’s house burned down. You’re not going to let us change the delivery location?”

Alli then confirmed that was exactly what Amazon decided on, showing they had gone ahead and delivered the package despite her protests. An included photo showed the large delivery in a cardboard box left sitting outside the charred remains of Alli’s family house.

According to Alli, the delivery driver even had to pass caution tape surrounding the house to make the delivery, though viewers pointed out this may have been due to company policy.

“My dad was a driver, the system will not let you deliver out of the dot unless you call support and tell them your GPS is broken,” one commenter wrote. Another explained, “Amazon drivers have these zones they have to physically be in to drop a package off without a hassle, that’s why they got so close.”

In a follow-up video, Alli explained the fire was “bad” and that the property has since been “condemned” to stop anyone risking their lives in the wreckage. She went on to criticize Amazon for their policies which force drivers into dangerous situations for the sake of a delivery.
