Right before the highly-anticipated Season 11 premiere of Vanderpump Rules, Lisa’s entire reputation is on the line.

While there is a ton of drama that goes on between the stars of Vanderpump Rules, there is twice as much happening behind the scenes.

Lisa Vanderpump owns several restaurants which are usually the backdrop for the reality TV series, but recently, her businesses have been hit with multiple lawsuits.

Just a few days ago employees from the restaurant TomTom (which is co-owned by Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval), sued Lisa and her husband for allegedly violating labor laws.

In addition to her restaurants, Lisa is well-known for her Vanderpump Dog Foundation, which focuses on rehabilitation for abused dogs.

While there have never been any claims against how she treats animals in her care, the same can’t be said for how she allegedly treats her employees.

Lisa Vanderpump’s Dog Foundation sued by former employee

On January 18, US Sun reported a lawsuit that was filed against Lisa’s Dog Foundation by a former employee who first brought the suit several years ago.

In addition to claiming that he was not being paid the correct amount for his work and ‘intolerable working conditions’, the man is also alleging that he was not given fair breaks per the labor laws of California.

“For the times Plaintiff worked at Defendants’ facilities, he was not provided with proper uninterrupted meal and rest periods. On numerous occasions, Plaintiff required and/or forced to forego meal break completely when there was too much work at hand,” the outlet shared.

As of now, there only seems to be one employee involved with this lawsuit, and he has reportedly received over $200,000 in compensation so far. It’s unclear whether or not this long-lasting lawsuit will be mentioned in Season 11.
