Pokemon Go Shiny Typhlosion

Pokemon Go players are finding Shiny Hisuian Typhlosion to be almost impossible to find, with many taking on tons of raids to get hold of one.

It’s no secret that Shiny Pokemon are pretty tough to get in Pokemon Go. They’re a rare occurrence and can be slippery at the best of times. That’s why players use key events like Community Days and Raids to grab a Shiny version of their favorite Pocket Monster since the spawns are either heightened or there’s a guaranteed catch.

However, this method doesn’t seem to be as effective as many anticipated for Hisuian Typhlosion – and now players are slamming Niantic for the tricky Shiny rate, with many sharing how tough it was for them to find.

Pokemon Go fans think Niantic forgot “to turn on Shinies”

Sharing their rather impressive catch on Reddit, one Pokemon Go player revealed their Shiny Hisuian Typhlosion, who just so happened to also be a Hundo, an equally as rare achievement. They went on, explaining how it “took me 9 raids” to get hold of the Pokemon.

While this is certainly a great achievement, many fans weren’t too happy with how many raids they also had to do to get hold of a Shiny.

“19 raids and no shiny” explained one frustrated player. They went on to edit their comment explaining how they’d completed “29 raids and my limit is reached… Wtf Niantic?? Did you forget to turn on shinies?”

They weren’t the only player who expressed their grievances. One user explained how they’d done “15 raids and no shiny, I totally understand” while another stated, “Ditto, really disappointed.”

The Shiny Pokemon wasn’t the only frustration among the community, with some revealing how they were “17 deep and still haven’t even gotten a 3 star…. I’ll just sit here and cry it’s ok.”

Naturally, Shiny Pokemon are pretty rare, and it’s likely Niantic didn’t up its rate just because of a raid. You have to be extremely lucky to get hold of a Shiny, and whether these players were just unlucky or Niantic’s Shiny Hisuian Typhlosion rate was lower than usual is yet to be seen.
