Given the $73M demand from Apple, players have started poking fun at Epic and suggesting that they should bring rare skins back. Renegade Raider and Paradigm are just some of the highly requested ones.

The legal battle between Epic Games and Apple can be traced all the way back to 2020, which resulted in Fortnite eventually getting removed from the App Store. After the recent court order, it has recently been made apparent that Apple has demanded Epic Games to pay $73M for legal fees.

Following this, Fortnite players couldn’t help but poke fun at the situation, claiming that Epic should bring back old skins to “make ends meet.” This is largely due to the recent Item Shop rotation that seems to cycle nearly the same skins and emotes the past few weeks.

It all started from a post on X showing a screenshot of the Item Shop that a user claimed would look like for next week. As opposed to the usual Item Shop, it features some of the rarest skins in the game, including Renegade Raider, Paradigm, and Travis Scott, to name a few.

Since it was first posted, the comments have been flooded by players who are keen on the idea. After all, it’s no secret that certain Fortnite skins don’t come back, especially if they’re part of an old Battle Pass or Crew Pack.

One of the top responses was, “Here at Epic, we are pleased to announce the return of old battle passes.” This was followed by another user replying, “I’d happily lend my kidney for this.”

On the other hand, others who joined in the comments begged Epic to bring back some notable skins that have yet to return to the shop, such as Spider-Man, Kratos, and Chun Li.

Fortnite skins chapter 4 Raider
Renegade Raider is one of the OG skins from Fortnite which is highly sought-after in the black market.

Collab skins aside, original character skins such as Meowskulls and Paradigm seem to be highly requested by players as well. It’s likely because they play a part in Fortnite’s lore, similar to Midas and other well-known Fortnite characters.

Another user also mentioned adding a specific emote back would be a good idea. “They will make it back in 36 hours if they put the griddy in,” they said.

It’s unclear whether or not Epic will decide to bring these skins back, but seeing the rare Black Widow and Stranger Things skins treatment recently, looks like anything is possible.
