LOUD to sign former FURIA player qck

VCT Americas Champions LOUD are nearing a deal with former FURIA player Gabriel “qck” Lima. According to leaks, he’s already made a verbal agreement and just needs to finalize his signing.

LOUD took the Americas region by storm after winning VCT Champions in 2022. Since then the team organization has placed second at the VCT LOCK IN, won a national Championship, and finished third at the 2023 VCT Champions.

Despite the success the team had in the last year, there will be some new faces joining the roster for the upcoming season. The off season started with LOUD releasing long standing member and superstar Erick ‘aspas’ Santos. Then most recently it was revealed that the team would not be renewing head coach Daniel ‘fRoD’ Montaner’s contract.

With two changes to be made during the off season, LOUD has kept their roster moves close to the chest. Nothing much has been made known of who would replace aspas and if the player would be from Brazil or potentially another region. The most recent source suggests that the Brazilian powerhouse has turned to a former FURIA player to round out their roster.

LOUD replace duelist aspas with all-around player from FURIA

After a lackluster inaugural season in VCT Americas, FURIA dropped a majority of its roster. Matheus ‘mazin’ Araújo, Douglas ‘dgzin’ Silva and qck were all allowed to explore their options, but only qck has found a new home if reports of his signing come to fruition.

However, he’s got big shoes to fill if he truly joins up with LOUD and replaces aspas, one of the best mechanical players in all of Valorant. According to a report from The Enemy, qck will be repping LOUD in VCT 2024.

qck has been around since VALORANT first released, playing for two different tier-two organizations by the names of Team oNe and Falkland eSports. He made his debut on the big stage in 2021 when he joined FURIA, who he remained with until August of 2023.

The twenty-year-old has played a number of different agents, ranging from Sentinels like Killjoy and Chamber to duelists like Reyna and Jett. Depending on the map, qck is able to adapt to what his team needs and be able to capitalize on it.

Now, the young prodigy will be able to team with some of the best players currently in the Americas region for the chance at lifting yet another trophy this upcoming year. Neither qck nor LOUD have confirmed this roster change at the time of writing.
