When is The Chosen Season 4 out?
Prime VideoHere’s everything you need to know about The Chosen Season 4 release date, from its theatrical run to when it’s expected on streaming.
In 2017, Dallas Jenkins wrote and directed ‘The Shepherd’, a de facto proof-of-concept pilot for a larger series about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. It sparked a crowdfunding project that raked in nearly $11 million, making it the largest audience-funded production in history.
Fortunately, it appears to have been money well spent. Each season has attracted critical acclaim and an extraordinary audience; it’s believed the series has been seen (wholly, or in part) more than 500 million viewers across the world.
So, The Chosen Season 4 isn’t just another TV series – it’s the biggest Christian entertainment release of 2024, and this is when you can watch it.
The Chosen Season 4 release date
The Chosen Season 4 premiered in cinemas on February 1, 2024.
The whole season screened in cinemas on the following dates:
- Episodes 1-3: February 1-14
- Episodes 4-6: February 15-28
- Episodes 7-8: February 29
In lieu of its streaming debut, it also returned to theaters and churches over Easter weekend.
When is The Chosen Season 4 come to streaming?
Unfortunately, The Chosen Season 4 doesn’t have a confirmed release date for its streaming debut. It will come to the Angel Studios sometime in 2024 following its theatrical run, but that’s all we know right now.
It was hoped Season 4 would be available to stream for free in time for Easter — however, “legal issues” concerning its distribution and the show’s “former partner” Angel Studios have gotten in the way. We’ll update this space as soon as we have an update.
You can watch the first three seasons of The Chosen for free via Angel Studios now. In the meantime, find out more about the show’s cast and characters and fans’ predictions for Season 5.
