Serinda Swan in Reacher Season 2.

Like the first season, Jack Reacher has a spicy and sizzling love interest with his teammate Karla Dixon in Reacher Season 2. But will Dixon change Reacher’s nomad ways?

In Season 1, Reacher caught the interest of Roscoe. The local police officer in Margrave becomes his partner in solving his brother’s murder and stopping the crime ring in town. There was a palpable sexual tension between them that resulted in a steamy shower scene and more.

Fans thought that Reacher had found someone who understood him, but by the end of the season, fans were disappointed. Reacher felt his life was like that of a nomad and not tied down to one person. He also felt that Roscoe’s life was in Margrave.

Going into Reacher Season 2, fans learn that Karla Dixon had tried many years ago to put the moves on Reacher in the 110th. But Reacher never gave in due to being her superior. Reunited and no longer her boss, Dixon and Reacher start a sexual relationship that has deeper ties. By the end, does Reacher decide to stay for her? Warning: Spoilers ahead!

Do Dixon and Reacher stay together?

No, sadly both Dixon and Reacher are on the same terms that their relationship doesn’t go any further, and saw it as tying up loose ends from the past.

Dixon and Reacher in Reacher Season 2 Episode 8.

Each season of Reacher has gotten its own spicy flare when it comes to Reacher’s love life. This time around, it was with Dixon. She was one of his former recruits for the 110th and there was clear chemistry between them. But Reacher also stomped on the breaks due to being her boss. When they reunite in Season 2, it’s clear that there’s something unresolved between them.

It all began after a mission when Dixon went into his room to let off some much-needed pent-up energy. But the series never makes it seem that they have deep-rooted feelings for each other, but more of a viewpoint of respect and admiration.

There is even a comical point where Dixon learns about Roscoe and Reacher looks scared of what she thinks. A few more sexual rendevous later and stopping Langston’s plan, the two have to part ways.

The following morning, Dixon arrives at Reacher’s motel room with a gift. With Stark naked with nothing more than a bedsheet, Dixon gifts him a toothbrush and wants him to use the money to buy something for himself. Dixon decides to mess with Reacher by telling him she wants him to go back home with her and meet her parents.

Reacher looks absolutely stunned and mortified. Thankfully, Dixon reveals it’s a joke. But she becomes serious in telling him that what they have isn’t “new,” but “old business.” He agrees saying it was old business that needed to be taken care of. Reacher puts on a more superior/boss tone and tells Dixon there’s one final thing that needs going over before the meeting is adjourned.

They have one final sexual rendevous before they part ways and Reacher becomes a nomad once again.
