How tall is Lucifer in Hazbin Hotel?

Hazbin Hotel is all about Heaven and Hell, and it’s no surprise that the series includes the devil himself. But how tall is Lucifer, exactly?

Demons come in all shapes and forms in Hazbin Hotel, from seemingly normal figures like Charlie to more animal-like beings like Husk. There are even more bizarre characters, like Vox. But one character that everyone wants to meet is Charlie Morningstar’s father, Lucifer.

Hazbin Hotel hasn’t introduced him yet, as Charlie explains he left her high and dry during her time of need. The most fans see is the backstory to how he created hell with Lilith. His introduction to the series proved that the big bad ruler himself is short compared to others — even his daughter.

Seeing as Hazbin Hotel has a longstanding fanbase from back when it originally aired on Patreon, fans are very curious about Lucifer in particular. How old is he? What’s his favorite color? And most importantly, how tall is Lucifer?

How tall is Lucifer?

The show doesn’t confirm exactly how tall Lucifer is, but we can safely estimate that he is around six foot tall, based on fan theories and clues found in Hazbin Hotel.

Essentially, the show remains inconsistent in how it portrays Lucifer when standing next to other characters. Fans have pointed to the theory that Lucifer is shorter than Charlie. Lilith is also described as being “very tall,” which would make the devil himself one of the shorter figures in the show.

“Okay, so last I heard anything official about Lucifer, it’s that he’s a few inches shorter than Charlie,” said one fan on Reddit. “I’ve only heard Lilith’s height described as “very tall”, though what that means is up for debate. Lots of really tall demons in Hazbin Hell. Of course, that information is old and might have changed by now. Which explains why he’s taller in the video. Or he’s standing on a box. Either way, I do think Lucifer being shorter is fun.”

Some fans believe Lucifer is well over the six-foot mark and that a majority of the demon characters in Hazbin Hotel are astronomically tall to the point it’s normal for them.

In the clip “Let’s Misbehave” on YouTube, fans get to see a family portrait of Charlie with her parents. In it, Charlie is shorter than Lucifer and Lillith. But Lilith is still taller than Lucifer. In that instance, Charlie may be the same height as her father, with the portrait having been done many years ago.

Fans are baffled to realize that if the family portrait is accurate, then Lillith is hitting the seven-foot mark in height. In Episode 5, Lucifer stands next to Alastor and has to look up at him, and Charlie is also a bit taller than him. While appearing short, he may be tall to a mundane human. But in Hell, he’s considered a short person.

The trailer does show a clip of Charlie being with her father, in which they look to be standing at the same height. In Hazbin Hotel Episode 5, Lucifer makes his grand appearance. To everyone’s accurate speculations, he is significantly shorter than everyone. But compared to a human being, he could still be significant in height.

“I’m calling it now, Lucifer is 6’6.6 inches tall,” joked one fan. With another commenting, “I’d say he’s like 6,2 or 6,3.”
