Bill Skarsgård as Boy.

Instead of Boy Meets World, it’s Boy Kills World as Bill Skarsgård will star in a new action thriller movie that already has everyone excited – but also tuned in on its connection to Bob’s Burgers.

The storyline may sound run-of-the-mill, but its newly released trailer reveals it’s set to be a dynamic, colorful, bloody, and intense thrill ride of action. Skarsgård stars as Boy, a deaf-mute whose family is brutally murdered.

Wanting retaliation, he seeks to find the people responsible and give them a taste of their own medicine. A shaman trains him to repress his big imagination and become a killing machine. While the trailer for Boy Kills World has fans hopeful of a good time, there’s one aspect that fans can’t ignore.

With Boy being deaf-mute, his inner voice speaks for him. It just so happens that the voice is very familiar.

Who plays Boy’s inner voice in Boy Kills World?

The action thriller movie Boy Kills World stars Bob’s Burgers and Archer actor H. Jon Benjamin voicing Boy’s inner voice.

It’s safe to say that Benjamin’s voice is easily one of the easiest ones to spot no matter what character he plays on screen. He gained notoriety for voicing Sterling Archer in the animated series Archer, and the burger restauranteur and father in Bob’s Burgers.

With Boy not speaking throughout the movie, the monologue going on in his head is what catalogs everything that happens. The trailer reveals it’s the last voice Boy remembers from a video game. Who better than Benjamin’s standout voice that perfectly captures Boy’s big imagination?

Once realizing who was behind the voice, fans on X/Twitter couldn’t help but point it out.

“This looks incredible! I knew his inner-voice sounded familiar!” said one fan.

Another agreed, saying, “When I heard Sterling Archer’s I was already sold.”

“I’m actually PUMPED to see this!! Archer narration puts it over the top for me!” said another.

The comments continue with, “I heart every aspect of this trailer! Although, I think they should have titled it ‘Bob’s Murders’ but that’s just me.”

As well as one fan saying, “I have never been sold on a movie this quickly. You telling me sterling archer narrating this whole movie????????”

For some, the movie itself didn’t garner much attention. But with the inclusion of Benjamin, it was added to the top of the watch list, with one fan saying, “The literal only reason I am now required to see this is because of the voice of Bob. Like no part of this interests me, but its basically voiced by the best adult comedy icon out there, so.”

Boy Kills World is set to premiere on April 26, 2024.
